Tygaflor® PTFE Glass Fabric With Adhesive is manufactured from standard grade PTFE impregnated fibreglass with high temperature silicone pressure sensitive adhesive. This product is almost chemically inert, only molten alkali metals and fluorine under elevated temperatures and pressure will attack the PTFE surface. The fibreglass provides dimensional stability and restricts PTFE cold flow. The PTFE surface provides a quick release surface and is often used in heat-sealing machines, plastic bag manufacturing and roll-can covering.
This product is also available without adhesive – see Tygaflor PTFE Glass Fabric
Availability: Tygaflor® PTFE Glass Fabric With Adhesive is available in 30metre slit rolls. Rolls can be slit from 12mm through to the full width of 1000mm. Full width material is available by the metre one metre wide.
Please note the brand Tygaflor no longer exists and was replaced with Versiv®
